About ADKAR

The ADKAR® Model is a goal-oriented change management model developed by Prosci founder Jeff Hiatt. It guides individual and organizational change through five sequential stages:

Awareness of the need for change

Desire to support and participate in the change

Knowledge of how to change

Ability to implement new skills and behaviors

Reinforcement to sustain the change

Research shows that projects with excellent change management are 7X more likely to succeed than those with poor change management.
